On your phone, open the family panel and generate a one-time code. On the kid's device, install Chores Bank and enter that code. The device then stays in kid mode until a parent types the account password.
Open settings on the kid's device and enter your parent password. There is no other way out — that's deliberate.
Because when the price is visible, kids pick the expensive chores and skip the rest. The value appears after you approve, together with the full breakdown: base score, streak bonus, quality bonus and multiplier. Seeing that doing it well paid ninety extra points is the part that teaches something.
Approved chores include a random bonus of 0–30 points on top of a reward the kid already earned by working. Nothing is wagered, nothing can be lost, and there is no way to pay for another try. It exists to make approval feel a little different every time.
Points are what you earn, and you can spend them in the reward store — ice cream, movie night, an hour of gaming. Or you can bank them, and then they grow with interest. Banked money cannot turn back into points. That one-way door is the whole lesson: treat today, or save for the thing you actually want.
No. Chores Bank processes no payments, holds no funds and connects to no bank. What a point is worth is a number you set for your family, and you settle it with your kid however you already do.
It is optional, it stays on the device unless you are reviewing from a different one, and it is deleted the moment you approve the chore.
No — use ask to redo. It sends the chore back with a note and never costs your kid their streak.
